Global investment banking client is seeking a Regulatory Policy Director to serve as the firm's subject-matter expert on prudential regulatory requirements (capital, RWA, liquidity, leverage, large exposures). This role partners closely with Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Business Units, and Head Office to interpret rules, support transactions and new products, and guide enterprise-wide regulatory policy.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and interpret regulatory reporting policies and guidance
• Advise on U.S. regulatory and Basel requirements across multiple entities
• Review key reports (Y-9C, FFIEC 002, 2052a, Y-14, Y-15, FOCUS)
• Draft comment letters and engage with regulators and industry groups
• Assess regulatory impacts of new products/transactions
• Support Basel III Endgame implementations and cross-functional initiatives
• Deliver training and strengthen governance and controls
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree; 8+ years regulatory policy or reporting experience
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. regulatory rules, and Client standards
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Capital rules expertise required; JFSA experience a plus
