A NJ-based Civil Engineering company that is growing rapidly on the East Coast, is looking to hire a Civil Engineer to execute upcoming projects and operations effectively. The details of the role are as below

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Senior Engineer in Florida and the Design, Draft, and Project Management in NJ to design and engineer Florida site plans and subdivisions
• Train and supervise the Florida team as it grows
• Advise the CAD management team on Florida specifications
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.)
• Mark up and draw plans that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs related to the project and share the report with the management
• Provide advice and resolve emerging problems/deficiencies
• Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Florida stated including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
• Ensure projects meet legal requirements and health and safety standards
• Assess projects' environmental impact and potential risk

• Minimum 5 Years' Experience in Site Design, Grading, and Drainage
• Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
