Job Overview

The Store Operations Supervisor is key in promoting operational excellence and executing our mission, vision, values, and strategies. This role encompasses responsibilities such as managing inventory, overseeing store operations, and ensuring a positive experience for both associates and pet parents.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• People Leadership:
• Guide and support associates in product handling, ensuring adequate training.
• Facilitate associate growth through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Delegate daily tasks and validate their completion.
• Lead by example when acting as the leader on duty.
• Address associate concerns and maintain a positive work environment.
• Celebrate team successes to boost engagement.
• Store Operations:
• Execute merchandising strategies to maximize sales.
• Manage inventory, conduct audits, and analyze sales trends for informed decisions.
• Oversee cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to maintain store standards.
• Be involved in store opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor pet care and uphold high standards of animal welfare.
• Ensure a seamless experience for pet parents using online orders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail supervisory experience.
• Full-time availability, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in computer software applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional exposure to moving machinery and live animals.
