Position Overview:

The Inbound Sales Specialist (ISS) plays a vital role in the United Site Services sales and customer service process. The ISS is responsible for responding to inbound sales inquiries from all customer tiers, providing accurate quotes for a wide range of products and services, converting those quotes into orders, and uncovering opportunities for future business. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations that address customer needs and differentiate our offerings to successfully close sales. The ISS is integral to generating new business, cultivating existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers proactively to assess their needs and offer suitable products and services.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to close sales during the initial customer call.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely handling of customer requests.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all United Site Services products and services.
  • Research customer businesses to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Educate customers on product offerings and emphasize the unique benefits of our services.
  • Recommend additional items tailored to the customer's specific business needs and purchasing behavior.
  • Address pricing objections by highlighting the value and quality of United Site Services.
  • Anticipate and understand customer needs and business models.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with responsive and personalized communication.
  • Identify future opportunities to serve and support customers effectively.
  • Build new business and maintain current accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize company systems efficiently while adhering to established standard operating procedures.
  • Stay informed about any changes to systems and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing performance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience required.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficient with technology and sales software.
  • Ability to tactfully overcome objections and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong active listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of maintaining a distraction-free work environment.
  • Knowledge of solution selling and differentiation of products.
  • Customer care experience and relationship-building skills preferred.
  • High energy, engaging demeanor, responsible, and focused.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances quickly.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving goals.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly sit while answering phones or responding to emails.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for data entry.
  • Regularly view details of objects within a few feet.
  • Frequently speak and understand clear communication.
  • Ability to focus on one sound source while filtering out others.

Benefit Summary:

All full-time employees (averaging 30 hours or more weekly) are eligible for benefits including Holiday & Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer-Paid Disability, Life Insurance, various Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts, 401(k) with employer match, and more.

Salary Range: $17.13 - $25.67 per hour, determined by geographic location and relevant skills. Our total compensation package includes base pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
