As a Sales Account Executive, you will manage, retain, and expand a defined book of business valued at over $2M while actively pursuing new accounts in identified target markets. Your objective will be to boost revenue by understanding customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities, and finalizing agreements that provide value to both clients and United Site Services.

This role is purely sales-oriented, not service-related. You will inherit an active billing customer base, focusing on retention, relationship expansion, and new business acquisition. Success hinges on a strategic mix of nurturing existing clients and conducting proactive outreach for new opportunities.

As an inside sales professional, you will operate from our office, engaging with customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings. You will manage your sales pipeline, track activities in Salesforce, and collaborate with internal teams to provide top-tier solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and grow a designated portfolio of existing clients, ensuring retention, expansion, and profitability.
  • Identify new revenue prospects within current accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities (e.g., portable restrooms, trailers, roll-offs, fencing, etc.).
  • Prospect and foster new business within targeted sectors, including construction, industrial, and municipal markets.
  • Regularly engage decision-makers through calls, emails, and virtual interactions to strengthen relationships and increase share of wallet.
  • Provide quotes, pricing updates, and proposals that align with revenue and margin objectives.
  • Accurately maintain a transparent sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM, ensuring accountability in forecasting.
  • Collaborate with field operations and customer care to guarantee seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor movements, and industry developments to effectively meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent education/training.
  • Experience: 1-7 years of B2B inside or account-based sales experience, preferably in industrial services, construction, rentals, or a related field.

Additional Skills and Attributes:

  • A high level of mental resilience and accountability, with the capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Treats assigned accounts as a personal business accountable for results.
  • Excellent communication skills: Proficient in phone-based sales, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Data-driven and analytical: Utilizes CRM data to identify patterns, predict opportunities, and steer strategy.
  • Persistent prospector: Comfortable with making outbound calls, networking, and generating leads.
  • Customer-centric approach: Builds trust through reliability, responsiveness, and professional follow-up.
  • Strong business acumen: Understands profitability, pricing strategies, and account management.
  • Highly organized: Efficiently manages multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Technologically savvy: Proficient in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft 365, and familiar with tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Team player: Works collaboratively across different functions to meet client commitments.

Note: If you do not meet every requirement but are eager to learn, willing to work hard, and determined to grow your skill set, we are prepared to support your development and help you succeed.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position will work in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to physical risks.
