Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Handler in Nampa, ID.
*New Facility with lots of growth opportunities!
As a Material Handler you will:
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to material control, shipping, and receiving.
- Pack finished products in appropriate containers for shipment or storage.
- Stock and arrange articles using proper packing materials to prevent damage.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of all shipping, receiving, and material control paperwork.
- Receive incoming materials into stockroom and lift up to 50lbs. without assistance.
- Maintain accurate manual or computerized records of parts and materials.
- Prepare and process company forms using standard office equipment and computer systems.
- Issue materials promptly to the shop floor and assist team members with material needs.
- Schedule carriers for pick-ups and determine freight charges.
- Administer inventory control, kitting, and shipping processes.
- Track customer-furnished equipment and materials.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain stock records.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, packing, and stockroom processes.
- Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Proficiency with computers, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and expedite materials effectively.
- Electronics manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
