Journey-Level Sprinkler Fitter

As a Journey-Level Sprinkler Fitter, you'll work on a variety of projects throughout Boise, Idaho- Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for the install, inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential environments. Bringing craftsmanship and precision to every job site. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and confident working independently or a part of a crew. In this Journey-level Sprinkler Fitter Temp-to-perm role you will earn $30-45 per hour DOE, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule. The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and test fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and NFPA standards
• Cut, thread, and install steel cooper, and CPVC pipe
• Perform service repairs, and routine maintenance on existing systems
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and hydraulic calculations
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, general contractors, and other trades
• Conduct inspections and ensure systems meet code requirements
• Maintain safe work practices, comply with OSHA, and company safety standards

Qualifications

• Be at least 18+ years of age. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
• Journey-level Sprinkler Fitter Fire protection license preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years' experience in fire installation and/or service
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in varying environments
• Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+lbs and work on active construction sites
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred by not required: Pre-action fire suppression system experience, NICET level l or ll in Sprinkler systems, Backflow certification
