Embryology Intern (Kuna, ID)

Summary: The Intern will work at a bovine In Vitro Fertilization laboratory. The intern will be involved in oocyte collection, maturation, fertilization and culture of In-vitro produced embryos in addition to providing overall laboratory support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance to the embryologist in oocyte collection, maturation, fertilization and culture of In-vitro produced embryos.
• Provides general laboratory support.

Typical Education: Currently enrolled in a four-year program at an accredited university, working towards a degree in Animal Science, Biology, Zoology, or related field.

Other Information:

• Start date beginning in April or May
• Basic laboratory and troubleshooting skills and analytical ability. High regard for quality work. Ability to work independently as well as in a team and enjoy a team-based environment. Highly collaborative, self-motivate, and flexible. Good organization, written and verbal communication skills
