Things You'll Do
* Sample asphalt from hot plant and field.
* Sample aggregates at pits and plants.
* Control asphalt densities by roller patterns.
* Core asphalt and fill out excel reports.
* Perform data filing and quality assurance sample storage.
* Calculate and report findings through computer programs.
* Maintain insurable driving record.
* Ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
* Preferred to have WAQTC: asphalt II & aggregates
* High school diploma or general education (GED)
* Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate products and industry quality standards.
* Intermediate computer skills
* Ability to safely move up to 70 lbs.
* Develop knowledge of scales, shakers, ovens and sieves.
