Security Officer - Unarmed Residential Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a residential location. You will remain visible, interact with residents, and provide outstanding customer service while monitoring the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the community by vehicle as well as on foot. Join a team that values teamwork, innovation, and integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and/or property management as needed.

+ Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

+ Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
