Position: Mechanical Technician

Location: Boise, ID

Pay Rate: $38-$40 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 40-50 hours per week

Position Overview:

ITS is seeking a Master Mechanical Installer in a senior-level role to oversee complex HVAC installations while ensuring project quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This role often serves as the lead on job sites, supervising crews and guiding technical decisions. We value teamwork, quality, innovation, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex HVAC installations, ensuring quality workmanship, safety standards, and full regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced HVAC system issues with expertise and minimal supervision.
• Lead crews on job sites, providing technical guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.

• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• Master Mechanical Installer Certification (required)
• OSHA 10 or higher Certification (required)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC system installation, repair, and troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license required
• Full range of mobility in upper and lower body; able to work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
• Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment; frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and install conduits
• Comfortable performing work at heights of 20 feet or more
• Willingness to submit to a drug test
• Must possess all necessary tools to complete work
