PKL Services Inc. is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E aircraft and equipment assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), Idaho. PKL employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules.

The Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance (JEIM) Support Technician is responsible for supporting the RSAF tool section, trailers and equipment for the customer.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Maintain RSAF Tool Section within the JEIM support section (CTKs/special tools, e-Tools, test equipment, Technical Orders (TO)s, bench stock, operating stocks as required.

• Standardize the RSAF Tool Section procedures for security, control, and accountability of equipment IAW DAFI 21-101.

• Control and maintain assigned TMDE and comply with instructions for the use, care, handling, transportation, and calibration.

• Shall ensure maintenance, control and storage of assigned Maintenance, Safety, and Protective Equipment (MSPE) items in accordance with regulations.

• Responsible for handling, maintaining, and controlling hazardous material, waste, and Initial Accumulation Points (IAPs) IAW AFMAN 32-7001, Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 90-8, MHAFB HAZWASTE Accumulation Point (AP) Manager Handbook.

• Maintain Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) and Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) IAW regulatory requirements.

• Maintain, manage and store engine support equipment and remove/install/transport equipment and trailers IAW DAFI 21-101.

• Perform duties as defined by applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs), along with any USAF like functions typically performed within the Aerospace Propulsion career field.
• Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.

About you

We'd love to hear from you if you have....

• High School Diploma or equivalency.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Prior qualified/certified 7-level in Aerospace Propulsion with a minimum of eight (8) years previous experience in jet engine maintenance and tool room management.

• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

• Wage: $33.75 per hr.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• This position requires normal physical functions.
• Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.
• May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.
• Normal color/depth perception and no record of emotional instability are required.
• May be required to work in areas in or near a hangar/ flight line that may be noisy at times.
• May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.
• Workshop environment, hangar and flightline
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud at times.
