Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description

This role involves performing various tasks in an assembly environment. Employees are required to stand continuously, use their hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Walking is a constant requirement, and there may be occasional need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The job requires lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds continuously, 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand and power tools.

• Interpret and follow blueprints and construction plans.

• Maintain safety standards and production efficiency.

• Handle and move materials as necessary.

• Operate within a loud environment with potential exposure to outside weather conditions and mechanical parts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly processes.

• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Understanding of safety and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction and truss assembly.

• Familiarity with tape measure usage.

Work Environment

This position operates in an indoor/outdoor plant environment with a loud noise level. Employees must wear ear plugs, eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required. The work schedule is from 4 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
