Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Certified Forklift Operator for a reputable company in Nampa Idaho. Must have GED or High School Diploma, at least 2 years experience and be able to pass pre employment drug test and background check. Hours are Sunday to Tuesday with every other Wednesday 7am-7pm or Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.

Current schedule available:

Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday $21.07/hr

7:00AM to 7:00PM

Position Responsibilities:

-Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.

-Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.

-Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.

-Load/unload 53 foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors

-Shipping and receiving of products and materials

-Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system

-Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift

-Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.

-Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.

Skills:

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to communicate effectively in English

-Ability to plan work and anticipate problems

-Computer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)

-Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)

Physical Requirements:

-Must be able to stand for an entire shift

-Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

-Must be able to get on and off of a forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift

-Must be able to tolerate climate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.
