Job Title

Software Developer (Fox Cable Network Services, LLC; Los Angeles, California): Design, build, and maintain high-performance Elixir-based distribution systems. Participate in the architecture, design and development of high-quality software solutions while ensuring the maintainability, scalability, and reliability of the systems. Drive innovation and experimentation by proposing and prototyping new features and technologies and evaluating their potential impact on the system. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback (especially critical feedback) to ensure the quality and consistency of the codebase. Position allows telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

Experience Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following: Elixir; Erlang; OTP; microservices and containerization; PostgreSQL and Redis; Content Delivery Network; Javascript and React framework; Kubernetes; Terraform; and HLS protocol.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $173,250.00-190,575.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
