Overview
We are seeking a collaborative, eager, and creative Mental Health Specialist to join our new Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program at St. Luke's. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment and is passionate about supporting adults through their mental health challenges.
In this role, the Mental Health Specialist will work closely with Mental Health Therapists, Psychiatry, and staff, primarily providing support in a group therapy setting. We are looking for a curious, high-contributor who values continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services, while fostering a culture of safety and trust for both patients and team members.
What You Can Expect:
- Full time with Full Benefits and hospital contributions
- Monitors patients physical and emotional well-being and reports unusual behavior or physical ailments to the treatment team
- Interacts with patients throughout the day monitoring behavior and providing behavioral interventions and de-escalation
- Acts as a patient advocate communicating with primary therapist and treatment team so that patient needs will be met
- Provides basic care and oversees the safety and security of mental/behavioral health patients under supervision of the Clinical Manager
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Experience: 2 years experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
