Position Overview: The Sales Account Manager plays a crucial role in nurturing and expanding client relationships. The primary focus is on proactive management of clients within assigned territories, tailoring services to meet their specific needs while driving account retention and revenue growth. The Sales Account Manager will engage with clients to identify regional needs, coordinate service delivery with internal teams, and ensure client satisfaction through dedicated follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients while building rapport with new accounts.
  • Generate leads and prospect target accounts to drive new revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts for service expansion.
  • Convert customers from competitors and increase sales of additional products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to confirm equipment availability, delivery schedules, and service quality.
  • Manage account plans targeting growth opportunities and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed regional revenue targets.
  • Provide tailored service recommendations that align with client requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication, address client concerns, and deliver proactive support throughout ongoing projects.
  • Lead the entire sales process from initial contact and proposal through negotiation, execution, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization's product offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments that may impact client needs.
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance client satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years in outside sales.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Willingness to travel over 35% of the time.
  • Reliable transportation to visit client sites.
  • Understanding of equipment rental agreements and coordination.
  • Able to manage multiple clients efficiently during various sales process phases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster and build strong client relationships.
  • Adept at quickly adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
  • Experienced in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for sales tracking and client management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Hybrid outside sales role with time spent seated in an office or vehicle and on foot at client sites.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
  • Visual acuity to notice fine details and engage in focused listening.

Benefits Summary: Full-time employees averaging 30 hours or more weekly are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans with employer matching, and other employee assistance programs.

Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,700.00 per year. Individual compensation is influenced by location, skills, experience, and education.
