Senior Electrical Engineer

Description:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who is excited to work on projects that power advanced manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and other state-of-the-art spaces.

In this role, you'll lead parts of the electrical design process, review design packages for quality, guide designers, and step in on complex technical tasks. You'll also work closely with clients, owners, and contractors to support construction on site.

What You'll Do

  • Design and oversee power distribution, grounding, lighting, and communication systems for complex industrial facilities.
  • Review and prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Act as the Electrical discipline lead or quality reviewer in project meetings.
  • Provide technical guidance and creative solutions to client challenges.
  • Help prepare project proposals.
  • Review vendor submittals and ensure they meet requirements.
  • Visit job sites to support contractors and perform punch walks.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (ABET-accredited).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain in Idaho.
  • 10+ years of electrical design experience for buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
  • Experience with load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and voltage drop calculations using SKM PTW, EasyPower, or similar tools.
  • Skilled in selecting and specifying electrical equipment.
  • Experience with vendor submittals and fieldwork.
