Substitute Teacher / Tutor

PIE places great emphasis on the student-teacher relationship, a critical component to the development of students' personal, emotional, and academic well-being. Pathways In Education is looking for a Substitute Teacher / Tutor to work at their Nampa location. The Substitute Teacher / Tutor will have set hours (Mon -- Thurs, 8am -- 4pm, with a 1 hour lunch), 28 hours / week and will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide instructional teaching duties while teacher is away

• Student work product accountability

• Manage student attendance

• Contact parents/students

• Communicate with teacher of record upon their return

• Grading student work

• Communicate weekly schedule with supervisors

• Provide instructional teaching support to assist center teaching staff as needed

• Communicate with supervisors

• Assist with grading

• Assist staff with center organization

• Support center with additional grading support

• Proactively manages personal schedule to support needs of center(s)

Education and Experience:

• Minimum BA degree or equivalent
