So, who are we?

Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the largest and oldest non‑profits in Idaho. Since 1953, Idaho Youth Ranch has provided healing and hope for Idaho's kids. We use proven therapies and programs to help kids who have experienced loss or adversity transform childhood trauma into hope. We offer a statewide network of services to kids 9–24 years old and their families, including outpatient therapies, residential care, adoption services, and career readiness. These services are supported by a statewide network of thrift stores that contribute a significant portion of the funds needed to support our services.

  • Strengthen systems, infrastructure, and processes to support scalable, mission‑driven service delivery

  • Lead change management initiatives with empathy and clarity, bringing people along the journey

  • Partner with the CEO and Board, including leading Finance and Audit Committees, to ensure strong governance and fiscal stewardship

Requirements

What does a successful candidate look like?

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Finance, HR, etc.) strongly preferred

  • 10–15 years in senior leadership, operations, or strategic roles

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high‑performing teams

  • Experience managing change and building trust across an organization

  • Experienced problem‑solver

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to communicate insights clearly

  • Background in nonprofit, education, or mission‑driven organizations preferred

Affordable medical and dental care, other voluntary benefits offerings, a 401(k) match, paid time off, an employee discount on purchases at our thrift stores, and working in a caring and compassionate environment, just to name a few.

Why unite with us?

Because we are better together! Our team members enjoy a workplace where relationships are the foundation. We are all committed to the same mission, where growth is always possible, where we are treated with and show compassion, where trust guides us to transparency, and above all, where joy sustains us.
