The Gist…

We are seeking a Software Engineer who is eager to grow their skills while working with modern cloud technologies. In this role you will help design, build, and maintain AWS Serverless applications using React (with Typescript), Node.js (with Typescript), and various AWS services.

What Your Day Might Include…

• Assist in building and improving features using React with TypeScript and Node.js with TypeScript.
• Help connect applications to AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
• Work with the team to turn ideas and requirements into working code.
• Write basic tests and learn how to ensure applications are reliable.
• Help troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in Agile meetings and learn the software development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR 5 years of experience (experience in lieu of degree), in technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Basic understanding of front-end development with React and back-end with Node.js.
• Interest in learning AWS cloud development (some exposure is a plus).
• Willingness to take feedback, ask questions, and learn quickly.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Must demonstrate exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be a team player (team-oriented) and willing to follow directions, as well as take initiative.
