Overview

The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance to clients and facilities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and secure physical environment. The role operates onsite with 24‑hour coverage and alternating shifts.

Essential Functions

• Respond to inquiries via phone, portal, or in‑person, triage and analyze issues.
• Provide remote and on‑site support for desktop, server, and infrastructure.
• Monitor critical infrastructure, security systems, and data center operations.
• Diagnose hardware, software, application, and performance problems; coordinate escalation.
• Document solutions, update status, and perform follow‑up per policy.
• Escalate to third‑party vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in customer‑service technical support.
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification or 1 year worked in ITIL environment preferred.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, CCNA, Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Strong desktop/laptop/network/hardware/software/application troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Server Technologies, VMWare, Windows, Active Directory, O365.

Compensation

Annual salary $37,595 – $50,470, offset by experience and skill level.

Schedule

6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sun/Mon/Tue; alternate Wed. Onsite required.
