Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a Traveling Field Superintendent who would like to develop and advance in their career. The position requires 100 percent on-site work and traveling full time across the United States. The successful candidate will organize and direct remediation and related activities within the assigned area, typically focusing on remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. You will be the primary client contact for day-to-day jobsite activities or coordinate with the client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of remediation projects.
  • Organize and direct remediation and related activities within the assigned area of responsibility (single area, multi-area, or multi-discipline remediation project).
  • Ensure job site operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Act as primary client contact for day-to-day activities or coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned areas of operations.
  • Interface with all other administrative field staff, field management staff, and the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.
  • Manage field crews and craft labor from 5 to 30 people.
  • Manage workflows and data; participate in technical support and task leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate with a team toward a common goal while also working independently on individual tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree and six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalent experience/education.
  • This role is subject to Background, MVR, and Medical Surveillance screenings.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required. Sponsorship will not be available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalent experience/education.
  • Travel up to 100% to and from work sites. Initial project will be in the regional area of Helena, Butte, Missoula, Bozeman.
  • OSHA 40-hr Hazardous Waste certification.
  • Field remedial construction experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Health and Safety.
  • Experience with CERCLA and RCRA remediation programs at complex sites.
  • Experience with residential remediation projects and mine-related site remediation.

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 per year.
