As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. Youll identify security events, coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams, and focus on long-term process improvements. Staying abreast of emerging security threats and recommending new security solutions is also key.

Responsibilities include:

• Following security policies and procedures
• Escalating potential security incidents
• Ensuring security responsibilities are met

Required qualifications and preferred skills include:

• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection, VPNs, application whitelisting, data loss prevention
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, and security operations
• Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell), access management, SIEM, MFA, ITIL tools
• Relocation to Madison (reimbursed), eligibility to work in the U.S., availability for shifts, COVID-19 vaccination
