Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Meridian, ID
Pay Range: $33 hourly
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
Perform monthly general ledger month-end, quarterly, and yearly close and reconciliation functions.
Conduct various audits including group audits, SOC 1, and year-end audits.
Lead the monthly operation flux entries and analytics to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Perform research and analytics as requested to support financial decision-making.
Complete journal entries, make appropriate corrections and adjustments, and review accounts and reports for accuracy.
What's Needed?
Educational background with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college).
No specific licenses or certifications required.
Ability to perform detailed financial analysis and reconciliation tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adhere to internal controls and accounting policies effectively.
