Required qualifications

  • Educational background: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data science. 5+ years specifically focused on AI and NLP applications.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with extensive experience in NLP libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch for model development.
  • Analytical expertise: Demonstrated ability to process and analyze large textual datasets, extracting meaningful insights, building predictive models, using generative AI techniques.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare sector, specifically Medicare Advantage, and an understanding of regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
  • Advanced technical skills: Experience with cloud-based AI solutions and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Leadership experience: Proven experience in a leadership capacity, mentoring junior data scientists and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Research contributions: Publications in reputable journals or conferences related to AI, NLP, or machine learning.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in machine learning or NLP.
  • 3 - 5 years project and/or people leadership experience.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $156,600 - $215,400 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
