Engineering Manager, Machine Learning

Accountabilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists to design, develop, and deploy ML models at scale.
• Oversee model development, including GenAI/LLM-based algorithms, for clinical trial execution and patient recruitment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinicians, engineers, informaticists, and stakeholders) to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Define model specifications, gather requirements, and supervise dataset generation for training and validation.
• Guide integration of ML models into production infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Drive innovation in data science practices and establish long-term technical vision and standards for the team.
• Communicate technical and business value of ML initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
