Job Details

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience within construction safety
• OSHA 30 certification and First Aid / CPR certification
• Meets OSHA's definition of a “Competent Person” (29 CFR 1926.32(f)) for all contractor work phases

Plus:

• Background with semiconductor facilities
• Local to Boise, ID

Core Responsibilities:

As a safety representative, your role is to support the client through consistent field engagement and real-time hazard identification. Your observations are essential in bridging the gap between daily operations and our clients' formal safety management structure. Your responsibility is to

observe, report, and communicate clearly and promptly.

• Lead safety meetings/toolbox talks
• Conduct daily site visits; identify and correct hazards
• Complete 4+ Work Area Evaluations per day
• Document all findings (unsafe acts, positive behaviors, corrective actions, photos)
• Investigate incidents/near misses; report and maintain OSHA documentation
• Report all findings, including: Unsafe acts or conditions, Positive safety behaviors, and Corrective actions (taken or required)
• Include photographic documentation and follow up until resolution is verified.
• Document any coaching or hazard mitigation efforts within the report.
• Actively participate in PTP reviews and work scope audits throughout the day.

Compensation:

$40/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
