Your Role

As the Vice President of Sourcing & Procurement, you will spearhead Teradata's Indirect Procurement Function, driving significant transformations to elevate procurement as a strategic business partner focused on optimizing spending, enhancing ESG impact, and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead thought initiatives on modern procurement practices and tools.
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for procurement as a vital business partner.
• Build and manage a high-performing, world-class procurement team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to create efficient, integrated processes.
• Design and execute sourcing and category strategies aimed at ongoing cost reduction and business alignment.
• Drive leverage opportunities and reduce complexity across all product categories.
• Oversee vendor management, including negotiation strategies, contract management, and performance reviews.
• Establish and maintain procurement standards, processes, and controls.
• Transform third-party risk management and enhance procurement operations for improved scalability.
• Grow and enhance the global contingent labor program.

Collaboration:

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of around 22 professionals, engaged in planning cycles, regular team interactions, and stakeholder initiatives to meet the evolving needs of Teradata's functions. Your team will be responsible for tracking crucial metrics such as Spend Under Management (SUM) and deal pipeline to optimize costs and ensure robust business outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or MBA in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
• Over 15 years of strategic sourcing experience, particularly in indirect sourcing and commodity management.
• Demonstrated success in procurement transformation and supplier/third-party risk management.
• Experience in building and scaling contingent labor programs.
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing, contract lifecycle management, risk management, and procurement tools.
• Experience in global, publicly traded companies.

Compensation:

The annual pay range for this role is $217,300 - $271,600 - $325,900, depending on geographic location, internal equity, and candidate qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, this position is eligible for annual incentives based on individual performance and company success.
