Oracle Hardware Division (OHD) is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to lead the development and implementation of GPU technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in hardware engineering and a deep expertise in system engineering specific to Nvidia and AMD GPU solutions. This role is critical in managing complex technology projects that require collaboration with Oracle's external manufacturers and fostering strong partnerships with Nvidia and AMD engineering teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project delivery and enhancing Oracle's position in the competitive GPU landscape.
Technical Leadership: Demonstrate a deep understanding of hardware and software integration to effectively engage with JDM vendors and internal Oracle Hardware and Software teams. Must be respected and articulate in technical discussions to guide GPU vendors, JDM Engineering and Oracle Internal Engineering (HW & Cloud).
Solution Development: Collaborate closely with vendors and Oracle Engineering teams to devise innovative solutions and alternative strategies, particularly when challenges arise.
Project Leadership: Lead the execution and implementation of GPU Systems development across cross-departmental teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding of internal customer requirements. Ensure timely delivery of new and existing products while collaborating with GPU vendors to set priorities and align project timelines with quality embedded.
Quality Assurance: Validate final products against specified requirements, conducting rigorous testing and detailed reporting to ensure quality standards are met prior to customer release.
Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks and obstacles, addressing program issues with a strategic approach to ensure project integrity.
Executive Representation: Represent the product/team at the EVP level, providing insights and analyses on project execution and technical trade-offs to senior leadership.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in dynamic environments, effectively managing changes through established review processes.
Technical Expertise: Profound understanding of GPU systems and software stacks, specifically Nvidia and AMD technologies. Proven experience with vendor validation tools and engineering logs related to GPU systems. Detailed understanding Firmware, drivers and BMC in this ecosystem Degree in Electrical Engineering

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
