Lead Data Scientist

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will guide teams in building and operationalizing advanced Generative AI and ML models that power decision support, automate workflows, and enable innovation across clinical and operational domains. You will serve as a technical leadermentoring scientists, influencing strategy, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and compliance of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of advanced AI/ML and Generative AI systems.

Translate product and clinical needs into AI strategies and solution architectures.

Mentor and coach data scientists in technical excellence and model lifecycle management.

Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure scalable, secure deployment.

Define evaluation metrics, validation pipelines, and monitoring standards.

Contribute to research, patents, and thought leadership in applied AI.

Promote responsible and ethical use of AI in healthcare.

Required Qualifications:

Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.

8+ years of experience in AI/ML with 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.

Proven success delivering end-to-end AI solutions in production.

Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

Strong understanding of healthcare data systems and interoperability standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading cross-functional AI programs or research initiatives.

Track record of innovation through patents, publications, or open-source work.

Knowledge of LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agent frameworks.

Proficiency with cloud ML platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
