Staff Accountant II

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant II to join the team in the Boise, ID office. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly closing processes, and supporting project-related accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Support project accounting, including cost tracking, invoicing, and revenue recognition
  • Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with payroll entries and expense reporting
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to support financial needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and project-based accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • CPA or working toward certification a plus

Compensation Package:

  • Pay Range: $30 - $38 hr.
