Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Safety Site Manager for an exciting opportunity in Garden City, Idaho. The Safety Site Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. This position involves interacting directly with field employees, company management, and customers to promote and maintain a strong safety culture across various job sites.
Responsibilities

  • Assist the Safety Director with the oversight and implementation of company safety processes on the jobsite.
  • Respond, oversee, and facilitate appropriate injury management and incident investigation/communication throughout the jobsite.
  • Manage safety programs through development, implementation, and management of the company's safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws.
  • Provide oversight management for service HSE activities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel, and offer services and technical advice for HSE and Injury/Illness Prevention Programs.
  • Collaborate with other managers in developing and maintaining a strong safety culture within the service department.
  • Work with customers and site general contractors to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Provide safety training as needed at a site level.
Position Requirements
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, customers, and the public.
  • Act as the technical safety advisor to company management and supervision.
  • Perform frequent safety inspections and audits at the job site.
  • Conduct job walks and job/site hazard analysis for proactive safety planning.
  • Perform incident investigations, reports, and develop corrective actions.
  • Maintain appropriate safety records.
  • Facilitate cultural change to drive company safety performance.
  • Mentor and coach management towards achieving a positive and proactive culture.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and track safety training for compliance.
  • Represent the company on environmental protection concerns and interface with regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations to maintain technical knowledge.
  • Responsible for subcontractor safety program execution and management.
  • Minimum CHST BCSP Certification.
  • Minimum OSHA 510.
  • Relevant scope and team management experience.
  • First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training.
  • Emergency procedures training.
  • NFPA 70E and LOTO competency and experience.
  • Mental Health First Aid Training.
  • Must obtain a minimum of OSHA 10-hour within 30 days of starting work at the project site.
Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required
  • Minimum 5 years of construction or maintenance experience in safety or operations, preferably in related industries such as mechanical contracting or similar commercial/industrial construction.
  • Minimum 5 years of Safety management experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of hazard identification and incident investigation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and office applications, Google, and Apple applications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training and presentations.
  • Ability to conduct research and develop statistical analyses for management decision-making.
  • Ability to develop data documentation and retrieval systems.
  • Ability to physically navigate jobsites; bending, standing, walking, squatting, climbing ladders, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
  • Jobsite inspections may be performed in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and build strong relationships for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Benefits

Competitive pay range: $46-$55 per hour
