What the role is:
NEAs Pollution Control 1 Division (PCD1) administers the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA) and its Regulations to manage and control air, water and noise pollution, hazardous substances, and toxic industrial waste at industrial and trade premises. A key role of the Inspectorate Department (ID) within PCD1 is to regulate and control pollution from the industrial and trade premises across Singapore. We are seeking suitable candidate(s) who can demonstrate strong leadership abilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with robust technical knowledge in pollution control, to oversee the operations in our division.
What you will be working on:
You will be assigned to a catchment consisting of various types of industries (e.g., steel mill, shipyard, waste recycling, etc.) and will implement programmes to control pollution in your catchment.
