Overview

HRV is a leading provider of materials quality assurance and quality control inspection, construction management and construction inspection services for transportation, rail & transit, oil & gas, power, commercial, and water/wastewater markets worldwide. HRV is excited to be experiencing growth and is seeking an AWS Certified Welding Inspector to perform inspections in the Northeastern USA area.

Responsibilities

Inspect welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 (demonstrated experience preferred). Maintain professional standards and contribute to the team culture of integrity, teamwork, and achievement. Communicate effectively and document findings using standard tools (Microsoft Word and Excel, internet, and email).

Requirements

• Valid AWS CWI
• Demonstrated experience performing quality inspection of welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 (preferred)
• Access to and ability to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel, the internet, and email
• Valid drivers license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available

Physical Requirements

• Physical activity includes climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods
• Exerting up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
• Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
