Summary

Role requires a unique blend of skills to analyze markets, competitors and customer behavior to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and go-to-market/sales strategies. You will be a critical link between market insight and sales execution, enabling sales teams to excel in every customer interaction, from initial contact to close, by aligning tools, processes, and reporting across business segments and functions.

Key Responsibilities – Market Intelligence

  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze data on customer behavior, sentiment and needs to understand market dynamics and inform customer targeting strategies

  • Market and Trend Analysis: Analyze industry trends and emerging opportunities in target markets

  • Competitive Analysis: Understand competitor strategies and market positioning to identify threats and opportunities

  • Data Synthesis and Insight Generation: Synthesize data from various sources into actionable business insights to support sales opportunity identification

  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide strategic advice and develop recommendations for competitive positioning and sales growth strategies. Lead workshops to identify key account growth opportunities.

  • Reporting and Presentation: Create market intelligence reports, executive summaries, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and relevant teams

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, such as sales and account teams, to ensure market insights are leveraged effectively

Key Responsibilities – Sales Enablement

  • Align with Business Goals: Understand overarching business objectives and how sales enablement can help achieve them. Drive enablement activities, ensure funnel sufficiency and sales growth goals.

  • Manage Account Plans: Oversee account plan process, outlining key customer engagement to foster long-term, value-driven relationships

  • Develop Enablement Strategies and KPIs: Create sales enablement plans, track impact of enablement initiatives

  • KPI Reporting: Manage and execute processes to complete KPI reporting and management reviews

  • Gather/Summarize Feedback: Collect input from sales teams and other stakeholders to understand and address their needs and challenges

  • Technology and Tools: Oversee the implementation of sales tech stack and other relevant technologies

  • Performance Measurement and Analysis: Monitor relevant KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enablement efforts

  • Training and Development: Deliver onboarding programs for new sales hires

  • Sales Process Optimization: Identify areas for sales process improvement and efficiency gains

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

  • Overnight travel may be required

Typical Experience

  • 5–10+ years' experience in market intelligence, sales enablement, market research or related roles in high-growth environments

  • Demonstrated success improving sales onboarding and ramp

  • Able to work independently and deliver quickly

  • Strong writing skills

  • Comfort aligning cross-functional teams and managing projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with a doer mentality—able to work fast, smart, and collaboratively

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree in related field (Marketing or Business preferred), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $119 - 165K Annually
