Senior Accountant (Contract Audit Support & Percentage of Completion)

Pay: $45 per hour

Overview

CV Resources is partnering with a growing construction company in Meridian, ID to hire an experienced Senior Accountant for a short-term contract (36 weeks). This onsite role will provide critical support in finalizing audit tie-outs and completing Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting work during a busy year-end period.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tying out audit schedules and preparing supporting documentation


• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts related to job costing and revenue recognition


• Complete and verify Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations and related workpapers


• Collaborate with the Controller and auditors to resolve discrepancies and provide explanations


• Ensure financial statements and schedules are accurate and audit-ready


• Support additional accounting projects as needed during the audit process

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field


• 4+ years of accounting experience (construction or project-based industry preferred)


• Strong understanding of GAAP and Percentage of Completion accounting


• Experience preparing for or supporting financial audits


• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines


• Available to start immediately and work onsite in Meridian
