As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you'll be a cornerstone of our Boise team, leading transformative transportation structure projects that span Idaho and beyond. From steel girders to prestressed concrete, your expertise will shape the infrastructure of tomorrow. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor rising talent, and drive excellence in design, delivery, and client service.
What You'll Do:
•Lead bridge and transportation structure design projects with precision and creativity
•Coordinate design activities and meetings with Jacobs staff and subcontractors
•Perform quality reviews and manage budgets and schedules for bridge design tasks
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD staff, fostering a culture of growth and innovation
•Expand our portfolio with Idaho Transportation Department, Ada County Highway District, and local agencies
•Engage in national design work, bringing your expertise to projects across the country

•BS in Civil Engineering
•PE registration
•10+ years of bridge design experience (steel girder, prestressed concrete, earth retaining structures)
•Deep knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design code
•Proficiency in LARSA, Leap Bridge Concrete, Bridge Link, or similar software
•Strong autonomy and leadership skills
•Project/task management experience
•Exceptional client service mindset
•Experience supporting proposal development
Ideally, you'll also have:
•Design-Build project experience
•Proven project management and business development skills
•Experience leading proposal development
