Employment Type:Full time. Shift:Day Shift. Description:PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT - Boise Regional Medical Campus. Under the direction of a qualified pathologist, provides services in anatomic pathology in the areas of autopsy, surgical pathology, and specialized services. Performs or assists in human postmortem and surgical specimen examinations. May assist, initiate, institute and accomplish certain specialized procedures or duties as designated by the supervising pathologist or laboratory director. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors or masters degree in health science or a related field required . year of Pathology Assistant training in an accredited program required. Experience as a Pathologist's Assistant required. Experience with a laboratory computer system with anatomic pathology and/or histology/cytology modules preferred. Membership in the American Association of Pathologist's Assistants preferred.
