Volunteer: Software Developer - Programs

Overview

Volunteer opportunity with Idaho Youth Ranch. The role focuses on software development to support program data analytics and system integration to better serve Idahos kids.

What Software Developer
You are the person who knows how to do things better. You have the skills to create processes and systems to improve quality, productivity and outcomes in our programs, and you want to use your knowledge to help a local nonprofit meet its goals.

Responsibilities

• Programmatically retrieve data from a commercial applicationu2019s API and store it in our Power BI system for data analytics and reporting.
• Programmatically retrieve data from the same database and link to our Hubspot cloud-based client record system. This link should be two-way if possible, allowing data to flow between Hubspot and Best Notes software.
• Work with an API that is PHP-based; details are available in the project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with retrieving and integrating data from APIs
• Ability to work with Power BI for data analytics and reporting
• Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM integration is a plus
