Job SummaryThe Mobile Response Team (MRT) Maintenance Technicians will be based in Boise and will require travel. These technicians will be responsible for repair and maintenance service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. **Schedule rotation is 7 days on 7 days off - Monday through Sunday**Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsures proper care of customer property through all phases of workAccurately completes required paperwork and work order details in CorridorContinually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool boxMeets or beats flat rates for assigned tasksUnderstands and follows safety procedures, and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish workQualifications & Job RequirementsMinimum three (3) years' experience in general business aviationOwns hand tools to complete work (list will be provided)Requires extensive travelExtensive experience with general aviation aircraft and ability to complete projects with no supervision requiredAirframe & Powerplant certifications requiredAble to work independently and as part of a teamGood problem-solving skills and ability to follow directionsOrganized and detail orientedEffective oral and written communication skillsPositive attitude, professional appearance and demeanorBasic sheet metal skills and/or basic electrical capabilities considered a plusOther PrerequisitesPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkAbility to obtain Airport Issued security badge Valid Driver's LicenseWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a hangar environment and requires regular fieldwork where the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather and industrial type noise conditions. Must have willingness and ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. overhead.
