LotusWorks is looking for a highly experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Construction Superintendent to oversee field execution and installation of critical I&C systems for a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho. This position is responsible for supervising craft labor and subcontractors, ensuring safe and quality installation, and driving schedule adherence for all I&C scope of work.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct daily construction activities for instrumentation, PLC/DCS systems, sensors, analyzers, and control wiring.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to align I&C scope with broader construction milestones.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, LOTO procedures, OSHA, and site-specific EHS requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor and craft labor performance, providing guidance, coaching, and corrective actions when necessary.
• Review P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and control system drawings to ensure proper field execution.
• Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and progress tracking to identify potential issues early and keep work on schedule.
• Collaborate with project engineers, quality teams, and commissioning staff to support system handover and startup activities.
• Maintain and update field documentation, red-lines, and QA/QC records for turnover packages.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and construction coordination sessions with field crews.
• Report daily progress, manpower levels, and productivity to the Construction Manager and Project Leadership.

Skills Required:

• 5 years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a superintendent or supervisory role on I&C or electrical projects.
• Strong background in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other mission-critical environments.
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/DCS systems, building/facility automation, and process control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Proven experience supervising subcontractors, craft labor, and multi-discipline crews.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills in high-pressure environments.
• Proficient in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule execution.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
