With a dedicated team of over 130 employees and a proven track record of minimal turnover, the company prides itself on steady growth, strong market presence, and a collaborative culture.Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Estimator - HVAC - Fully Remote will be responsible for:Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to define the scope of work.Conduct virtual and occasional on-site visits to assess project conditions.Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.Utilize historical data, cost databases, and industry benchmarks to enhance estimating accuracy.Develop comprehensive bid proposals outlining scope, costs, and qualifications.Collaborate with bid teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.Source, solicit, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.Maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing.Identify risks impacting costs and propose mitigation strategies.Work closely with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to refine project details.Communicate clearly to ensure all teams understand and support estimates.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantThe Mechanical Estimator - HVAC - Fully Remote will have:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.3-10 years of mechanical estimating experience, preferably commercial with a strong focus on multifamily projects.Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Open to less experienced professionals who demonstrate strong potential.What's on OfferThe Mechanical Estimator - HVAC - Fully Remote will receive:Fully remote position with potential hybrid flexibility for local candidates (1 day/week in Mooresville, NC).Competitive salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 base, commensurate with experience.Regular office hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).Opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects across the East Coast corridor.Supportive and stable work environment with minimal turnover and consistent project flow.ContactKyle WilcoxQuote job refJN-082###-####209
