SMX is seeking a Program Manager to work as part of a client integrated program management team in the SMX INDOPACOM AOR contract within the Defense Solutions Business Unit of Smartronix, Inc in Honolulu, HI. The Program Manager will assist the SOCPAC ISR project manager with managing the project to include manning, operational support, financial management, administrative tasks (CACs, TARs, RIPs, reporting documents, deliverables, etc., and business reporting requirements
This position requires a DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Independently executes and monitors project activities
Manages changes to scope, cost and schedule of project work
Prepares and updates project plans and status reports
Coordinates cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project
Allocates appropriate resources to ensure projects are completed within given time and budget
Identifying equipment requirements
Create, submit, and track equipment procurement documentation
Prepare trip reports and monthly status reports
Conduct site surveys, verify and inspect equipment, and coordinate CONUS/OCONUS equipment deliveries
Provides support to the Contract Manager for operational direction and oversight
Ensures that contract service, quality, and performance requirements are met and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) is maintained
Reports status develops project-related documentation, and implements lessons learned and participates in project performance review meetings and discussions, updates and maintains production and quality metrics for assigned projects
Provides support to the Contract Manager for operational direction and oversight to ensures that contract service, quality, and performance requirements are met and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP)?is maintained
Advises the Contract Manager of any contractual issues that may result in Contracting Office action and of any anticipated or proposed adverse personnel actions
Works cooperatively with the Contract Manager in developing short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in accordance with contract parameters
Required Skills & Experience
Required clearance: Top Secret
Must be able to effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities and possess excellent time management skills
Good at motivating and delegating to junior and peer personnel as appropriate
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to complete tasks within required timeframes with little or no supervision and strong ability to multitask
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and team-management and leadership skills
Capacity to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to change
Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
Desired Skills & Experience
Previous project management experience
Bachelor's degree
12 years of project management experience may be substituted for degree requirements time management skills
PMI PMP is preferred
Previous airborne ISR experience desired

The proposed salary for this position is:
$110,200-$183,400 USD
