Join our team as a Senior Linux Systems Administrator, where you will play a critical role in managing unique and complex information technology projects across multiple disciplines. In this position, you will lead a team of Linux and Windows Administrators to ensure the planning, implementation, and management of essential systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direction and guidance to IT Administrators in a senior capacity.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external teams regarding project statuses, tasks, and issues.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical reviews.
• Maintaining compliance with information security policies and procedures across critical infrastructures.
• Onboarding and training new team members to align with operational standards.
• Integrating Linux systems with existing infrastructure and emerging technologies.
• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Configuring new Linux systems and ensuring compliance with enterprise baselines.
• Developing an operating system lifecycle plan that incorporates security standards.
• Integrating Linux systems with enterprise tools such as ACAS, Splunk, and backup systems.
• Monitoring integrated solutions using centralized alerting systems.
• Ensuring effective log management for security compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience working with Linux.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with RHEL Linux (RHEL 8/9), Oracle Linux, and Satellite 6.8 or higher.
• Strong familiarity with large-scale operational environments.
• Proficient in Linux scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience securing Linux servers, including host-based firewalls and SELinux.
• Experience with application servers like JBoss and WebLogic within a Linux environment.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certifications are highly preferred.
