About the Role

As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient operations at our retail outlet. Your focus will be on ensuring fast and friendly service, creating an enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist them with any product or service inquiries.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, including scanning items, processing various payment methods, and bagging merchandise.
• Strive to exceed personal sales goals, including credit and loyalty initiatives.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy through diligent point-of-sale practices.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members on customer service standards and operational best practices.
• Engage in daily operational tasks such as register and cash balancing and restocking supplies.

What Skills You Have

Required

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• No prior retail experience is necessary.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

• Experience in client-facing roles in retail or service industries.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasionally able to lift more with assistance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, lifting, and reaching throughout your shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of your scheduled shift.
• Ability to visually inspect merchandise and verify information.
• Commitment to following health and safety standards.
