Job Title: Painter

Location: Meridian, ID

Sawtooth Concepts Painting is looking for a painter to help perform skilled painting jobs on new and existing buildings and other facilities areas. This is a full-time position with some opportunity for overtime. What You Will Do:

• Prepare work areas with drop cloths, plastic, tapes, paper, and masks as needed, and remove fixtures
• Perform general site clean-up, remove debris and trash from work site
• Move, load, and unload materials
• Assist in light construction work if necessary
• Properly use a 6-foot ladder, or more
• Paint and assist other painters as directed

We're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required for travel between work sites around the Treasure Valley
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to wear proper safety equipment as necessary: PPE including hard hat, high viz, gloves, safety glasses, mask, boots, etc.
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand walk, push, and pull up to 100 lbs., reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices and be comfortable around heights and working on a roof
