This is an opportunity to lead a team of engineers that prepare and oversee instrument layouts, installation details, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, panel design, and cable and conduit schedules for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects. An ideal candidate has experience in managing teams, PLC programming, on-site commissioning, and start-ups. They have the desire to learn and grow with the company; and can lead a controls/integration team to success.Responsibilities IncludeManage and lead controls/integration team across all offices and locationsCreate project schedules, with milestones, due dates, and resource needsLead the design of control systems for municipal and public works projects, as well as private development, working within a defined project scope and budgetDevelop construction drawings with a focus on water and wastewater projects. Collaborate with team members throughout the organization to gain information neededPerform basic engineering calculations related to equipment sizing and specifications. Apply National Electric Code to designPreparation of documents conforming to company standardsReview equipment data sheets for key technical informationOversee and manage development of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programsAttend client sites and document existing infrastructure with focus on project needs.
