As the facilities Electrical Engineering Owner's Representative, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client's manufacturing in Boise, ID. You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role you will work on the client's behalf to edit client specifications, review and provide feedback/comments on designs, specs, and drawings. As the electrical engineering representative on a multi-discipline design team, your primary duties will be to review design packages focused on Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls deliverables prepared by others.
Your responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage controls and communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems
Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in state of Idaho
Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
Be well versed in methods to perform voltage drop, arc flash, short circuit current, and load flow calculations using SKM PTW, EasyPower or similar modeling software
Be well versed in engineering practices and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware
Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel
Ability to perform site punch walk services
Ideally, you'll also have:
At least 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms
Working knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls design-related deliverables such as P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.
Experience with Instrument specification
Experience with network design, layout and backbone
Experience with control panel design, including UL508A requirements
Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
