We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team! As an entry-level position, this role is designed to provide hands-on experience in technology initiatives, IT systems, and customer support functions. You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot issues, document processes, and assist with small-scale projects, while developing essential skills in IT security, systems administration, and professional communication. In this position you will be able to foster professional development, growth, and prepare yourself for higher-level responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with troubleshooting, documentation, and small-scale project work to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Learn and apply core IT systems and technologies, including software development life cycles and data change procedures
  • Contribute to department goals by providing technical assistance, documentation, and teamwork
  • Develop essential skills in IT security, systems administration, and professional communication through hands-on experience and mentorship
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on IT projects and initiatives
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the IT department in a positive way, resolving customer issues quickly and efficiently
  • Document processes and procedures, and create end-user documentation as needed to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency
  • Perform special projects as assigned, applying your skills and knowledge to real-world scenarios
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and maintain IT systems and technologies
  • Other job duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently
